Liam-Og Griffin is a 3rd Dan Black in Shotokan Karate, 2nd Black Belt in Kickboxing and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He’s also a Level 1 Wrestling Coach (IAWA), Level 2 MMA Coach (IMMAA) and IKF Kickboxing Judge/Referee.

Having started out studying Shotokan karate from the age of 7, under his parents Liam Snr and Teresa, Liam-Og competed in UK, Poland, Italy, USA and Japan with multiple medals from European and World Championships. In his mid twenties, he took a detour into stunt martial arts and had some roles in small domestic films.

In 2009, he pursued a new passion and began studying Mixed Martial Arts. He now runs SBG Cork and spends most of his time coaching a team of amateur and semi-pro athletes in MMA, Kickboxing and Grappling.
