Paul O'Brien is chief instructor of the highly succesful Learning Hub Limerick Kickboxing Club and holds a 5th dan black belt in kickboxing. He has been active in Martial Arts for over 20 years and has trained in kickboxing, boxing, muay thai, kung fu, tae bo and weaponary.
He is a former Irish kickboxing champion and has represented Ireland as team captain at many world tournaments and international shows before he decided to step into his present role as a coach and establish his very own club. He is fully qualified in Sports Nutrition, First Aid, Children First, Nutrition and Physical Activity for Health, Child Protection, Safeguarding in Sport, Active Leadership and is he is also Garda vetted.
Along with managing his own kickboxing club, Paul is also a Sports Co-ordinator at the Learning Hub Limerick, where he runs numerous sports and nutrition projects to help enable young people of all backgrounds and abilities to stay active and healthy.
